Dsar Extraction of Excels

Overview

Steps

  1. Navigate to the workspace you want to run Dsar Extraction.

  2. Go to the Bulk Process sub-tab under the Excel Redact workspace tab.

  3. Click New at the top of the page to open the Bulk Process edit page.

  4. Fill out the fields on the layout.

  5. Name.

  6. Searchable set - The saved search containing the excels you want to bulk process.
  7. Processing settings - Not relevant for this job.
  8. Automatic Redaction Keywords - Keywords to be used when extracting rows in the excel. This should be a newline separated list of keywords.

  9. Click Save. A console window will appear on the right-hand side.

  1. Click Dsar Extraction.

  2. Once the agent has finished processing, a new excel will be created and added to the Redacted Native tab.

  3. Navigate to a document and select the Excel Redact layout on the coding pane. The newly created native will appear under the Redacted Native section.

As seen from this example, the excel file created from the DSAR Extraction job only contains rows containing the keyword supplied in the Automatic Redaction Keyword field. Any header rows detected will also be pulled out, as seen in row 1 in the image above.
